Ellie is a talented photographer with a clear gift! I was looking to get promotional pictures and an album cover photo taken as part of my rebranding as a musician. My worries for photos in general were that they might be too cheesy. Instead, Ellie’s photographs were high quality, creative, and completely original. Ellie has an incredible vision and all the talent it takes to make that vision come to life. She’s collaborative, experienced, and the best person to spend a few hours taking pictures with! I’d never done any sort of photoshoot before, and I was nervous that I wouldn’t know what to do/how to pose, especially in public locations. But Ellie guided me through every step! She made me feel comfortable, and it shows in the photos. I look like myself, which I love.

I was immediately captured by the luminance of Ellie MacLean's collection. I initially asked her to bring to life artistic pursuits of mine, including some inspired portraiture. Ellie was adept not only at producing the product I had imagined and understanding my desired goal but also at drawing it out further to a more elevated, completed product. She is especially talented with lighting as well as posing her subjects and models. I personally sought her out at every opportunity after our first shoot.
